Square Enix has pushed back the release date of Kingdom Hearts 3 to 2019. The game was due to be released later this year, but there is now a solid release date of January 29th 2019.

The game’s director Tetsuya Nomura released a statement apologising as they need a “little more time than initially planned”, but also directing fans to Square Enix’s E3 briefing asking them to “look forward to other information, including a few trailers at E3.”

Square Enix’s E3 Briefing starts at 6pm UK time on Monday 11th June.
