If you’re a fan of subjecting yourself to terrifying experiences, you’re in luck! Capcom have announced Resident Evil 7: Biohazard in an awesome trailer, while also confirming its compatibility with PlayStation VR.
The trailer shows off a preference for general creepiness and dread, more in the style demonstrated by the playable teaser for the now-cancelled Silent Hills, rather than one for explicit gore. We can’t help but think this will result in a lot of soiled pants when the title releases in January 2017.
Capcom have also made a free demo available to PlayStation Plus members, so you’re free to check out the title immediately. This also confirms that Resi Evil 7 won’t necessarily require PSVR, seeing as, well, it’s not out yet.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard comes out on January 24th, 2017.
