The title known as Zelda U has been given an official name at E3 this year – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Of course, as the game is no longer an exclusive for the Wii U, it’s about time that we received an official name for the title.
Breath of the Wild was playable for the lucky attendees at E3, and promises a bigger Hyrule than ever before.
The trailer showcases a gorgeous, vibrant world, along with a version of Link that appears to be more skilled than ever. In the trailer, Link demonstrates an ability to climb tall structures, to chop down trees to make bridges, to cook food, and to hunt, among other abilities. As well as this, a human voice featured in the trailer suggests the possibility of voice acting for the first time in the Legend of Zelda series.
Unfortunately, there is still no official release date, but The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is expected in 2017.
